BI-Logix, a supplier of enterprise-wide business monitoring software, had a big problem. Their homepage's presentation relied on a combination of industry buzzwords, jargon, bad English, and Reverential Capitalization. Customers couldn't understand what its products did or why anyone would need them.
Kuru rewrote the central message and the CEO's commentary from scratch to be clear, concise, and explain the firm's products and value. We also created the "Expert in a Box" concept to explain the company's approach to data mining using a set of prebuilt, off-the-shelf customizable artificial intelligence modules instead of building analyzers on a customer-by-customer basis.
All industry jargon was replaced by plain language. The message text was changed to black and firebrick -- compatible with their original color scheme -- instead of a blue indistinguishable from the links, and the text was justified. Hyperlink underlining was replaced with color.
